Height: 90cm-1.2m
Spacing: 50cm
Bloom period: December-April. Tall slender stems with small vibrant purple flowers. Attracts butterfiles and bees. Grow in full sun. When it is in a bouquet, you do end up with purple sprinkles on the table cloth from spent flowers dropping, but more tiny buds will open.
Will self seed and is also easy to propagate from cuttings.
Supplied in August as dormant bare-rooted plant divisions with a little soil/sawdust and wrapped in moist paper. Plant straight away in warmer climates, or pot up in a sheltered spot (e.g. greenhouse/coldframe) or store in lightly damp sawdust for up to a month before planting.
The price is for 5 bare-root divisions. Each one will become a plant.
