Salvia uliginosa

NZ$22.00
Out of Stock

Height: 90-120cm

Spacing: 60cm

Bloom period: January-March.

Long stems with the most wonderful sky-blue flowers. The downsides are that it sheds petals after picking, and it has an unusual smell. However, it is an extremely prolific plant (spreads a lot!) and has cottage-garden charm.

It can be propagated very easily by division of shoots that spread out from the base of the plant.

Supplied in August as dormant bare-rooted plant divisions with a little potting mix and wrapped in moist paper. Plant straight away in warmer climates, or pot up in a sheltered spot (e.g. greenhouse/coldframe) until temperatures warm up.

*Please Note: The price is for 3 larger grade bare-root divisions. These have been growing in our nursery for longer and are more established than the 5 crown bundles. Each one will become a plant.*
