Lysimachia clethroides

NZ$20.00
Out of Stock

Height:1m

Spacing: 50cm - very vigorous spreader

Bloom period: Flush in December, but blooming continues a bit into January - February. You won't get repeat flowering in the same season, but flowerheads mature at different times over several weeks. Autumn foliage is also really pretty in March and April.

Named 'Gooseneck' for the bend in the the flower spike. A gorgeous plant spreading by underground rhizomes. Boistrously invasive in the right conditions - beware! But that also means it is a very productive cut flower! Much desired by wedding florists.

Supplied in August as dormant bare-rooted plant divisions with a little soil/sawdust and wrapped in moist paper. Plant straight away in warmer climates, or pot up in a sheltered spot (e.g. greenhouse/coldframe) or store in lightly damp sawdust for up to a month before planting.

The price is for 5 bare-root divisions. Each one will become a plant.
